a day ago Air Joy Duct Cleaning is falsely reporting my review as spam / fake to get it removed from Google reviews, so it's not showing up there any more. I don't know how many other people they've done this to, but they think they can provide bad service and keep getting it away with it to maintain a 5 star rating because they know the trick of mass reporting bad reviews with multiple accounts. They are wrong. I will make my experience known. My review that Google is hiding and won't let me post any more is below:

Review that Scott had removed:
I wanted to support a smaller Hamilton business. Scott at Air Joy Duct Cleaning was the first company I called that seemed like there was no call center and the call went straight to his cell phone. Scott seemed nice over the phone and fairly reasonable in terms of pricing the first day that I talked to him. Booked an appointment with him on that first conversation I had with him. Again, he seemed great and sounded like he was finding time to just fit me in.
When the day of the appointment came, he didn't show up or communicate with me at all. I tried calling him but he didn't pick up. The voicemail said to leave a voice message or text the same number, so I texted him as well. I called several times, fairly spaced out, to not bother him if he was genuinely busy and couldn't take a call right at that moment. Never got a response from him of any kind at all.
I tried calling and texting him again the next morning and still no response. At that point, I started calling for quotes from other companies, and one of those companies was DuctCleaner.ca, which was picked up by (and shares the same number as) Crystal Clean Services. They said that their technician Scott would give me a call to book an appointment. The day passed as I waited for the very last quote from Scott of DuctCleaner.ca, but then I realized it must be the same guy who ghosted me for no reason after a no show. I looked into it and confirmed that it was truly the same guy, who seems to have worked for Crystal Clean Services and started his own company, but now is maybe still doing contract work for them.
So Scott wasted days of my time, not getting my problem fixed and me not booking anyone else because he took the job. And he wasted another day after from me expecting a call from him from another company. I really tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and gave him every opportunity to make it right, or at least explain what happened. If he had contacted me that same day of the appointment, or even the morning after to tell me he couldn't come or even just had to cancel, I would not have left a review. Stay away from this guy. It's a complete waste of time.
